What does TapClaim do?
TapClaim helps you discover U.S. class-action settlements you may be eligible for, checks the requirements with a few quick questions, gets everything ready for you to file your claim, and keeps track of the claims you've filed. TapClaim is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
When will I get paid? What's the status of my claim?
We can't tell you, and we can't speed it up — payments are handled entirely by each settlement's administrator, not by TapClaim. We are not affiliated with any court, settlement administrator, or party to any settlement. For the status of a claim or a payment, contact the settlement administrator through the official settlement website where you filed. Payout amounts shown in the app are estimates based on public settlement documents; the actual amount is decided by the administrator.
I'm not getting deadline notifications
Check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications → TapClaim. Notifications also require an internet connection at the time we send them.
Why does the app ask for my ZIP code or address?
Some settlements only cover residents of certain states, so your ZIP code and state help us show settlements that may apply to you. Your address is never entered on claim forms by us — anything you type on a settlement administrator's website goes directly to the administrator.
